Join the Berkeley Neighborhood

Berkeley is a quiet neighborhood in northwest Denver, packed with local restaurants and shopping. With an abundance of fast-food eateries, hip coffee shops, and specialty stores along Tennyson Street, as well as live music venues, Berkeley is the perfect location for those seeking a little bit of everything.

For the Foodies

Whatever you’re craving, you’re almost certain to find it in Berkeley. Enjoy a delicious breakfast at Call Your Mother Deli, Michelin-recommended Asian bites at Hey Kiddo, or upscale American fare at American Elm.

Pick up your morning dose of caffeine at Starbucks located right across from the Irwin or go to our local favorite, Mob Coffee for cold brew and breakfast burritos.

When happy hour hits, head across the street to aviation-themed FlyteCo Brewing for craft bear and hand-made sandwiches.

For the Wanderers

When you want to enjoy the fresh air, head to Berkeley Lake Park. This stunning green space offers a walking path around the serene lake, a community recreation center, tennis courts, and the community canines' favorite spot: Berkeley Dog Park. Rocky Mountain Lake Park also features tennis courts and walking paths, while the smaller Cesar E. Chavez Park is beloved for its playground, which is almost always filled with neighborhood kids on sunny days.

If you find yourself pining for the good ol’ days, pay a visit to Lakeside Amusement Park, which opened in 1908 on Sheridan Boulevard. Indoors, the Oriental Theater hosts an array of local and national acts.
